Joining


What are your qualifications and experience?
Our team includes qualified Chartered Accountants and Chartered Certified Accountants, many with over 15 years of practice experience. We also employ a number of trainees. We all engage in regular training and keep up to date with all relevant changes in taxation and accounting law.
How much advice is included?
We are here to support you and your business. If you ever have any questions then simply pick up the phone and talk to your assigned Client Manager. Our calls are not screened. No one will ask you who you are or what you want, you’ll just be put straight through. If they are not here for any reasons then someone on the team can help.
Is there a minimum contract length?
No, you are free to stay as long or as short as you like. If you decide to leave we don’t charge any exit fees.
How long does it take to convert my data on software?
This depends on how much data needs to be converted – typically this takes a couple of days to a week to get the information.


How do you obtain my records from my old accountant?
We write to your old accountant on your behalf to explain that you are switching to us and also obtain any records, simple.
What happens when I sign up?
If you are happy with your quote, then you will be sent an engagement letter confirming everything. Your Client Manager will phone you and introduce themselves, and explain the next steps in the with over or set-up process. We will guide you through as its in everyone’s best interests that things go smoothly.
I have just started a new company. Do I need a new accountant straight away?
Whilst you don’t need an accountant until you need to file your annual accounts it’s a good idea to get an accountant on board as soon as possible so you can be getting the right advice and software to enable your business to succeed.
How difficult is it to switch accountants?
It’s not hard at all. Simply sign up with us and we can contact your old accountant on your behalf to gather records. Take a look at our on-boarding process.
Do I need to be based locally?
No, we are cloud accountants which means we work online, you could be based anywhere and it wouldn’t make any difference to our workflow.

Services


Do I have my own dedicated accountant?
Yes, every client is assigned a Client Manager responsible for your accounts and tax administration, and they will be your first point of contact if you have any questions.
What happens if I want to leave?
If you have decided you want to leave we work out how much you have paid and compare this to the service which has been provided during the 12 month period. We then either refund you or give you a bill for the difference.
How long does it take to complete my accounts ?
We will be in contact prior to your year-end to ensure that you have a checklist of the matters to consider in advance – and this includes tax planning tips etc. A short while after your year-end has passed we will request any additional information we require and over the course of around 6 weeks your company account and tax return will be drafted, reviewed, and passed to you for approval.
Can I add on more services to my package
Yes, not only can you add-on other accounting services such as payroll but we can also build software into your package price as well. Simply contact us for more information on how to do this.
I currently use a different online accounting software, can you still use this?
We work with a number of the most popular software providers. If, however, you have something different and do not want to change, contact us and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate you.
Do you offer other bespoke services?
Yes, we offer bespoke business plans, budgeting and tax work which is not included as standard in the monthly charge – simply get in touch and we are able to give you a quote.
What happens if I go over my limit for payroll staff numbers?
Not too worry – we check you’re on the right pricing plan once every 3 months and then advise you of any changes.
What happened if I go beyond my transaction limit for bookkeeping in one month?
We review your package every 3 months to see if you are on the right pricing level. If the amount of bank transactions changes we will inform you of the change after our 3 month review. We calculate the amount of transactions by taking a 3 month average.

Billing


Can I pay after the accounts are done?
The packages we provide include ongoing service throughout the year which is why we price this way. It also ensures that you can manage your cash flow and don’t receive any nasty surprises.
What if I want to change my package?
If you want to upgrade or downgrade your package simply let us know. We can then advise you of the price change.
How Do I Pay?
Payment is monthly via a direct debit on the 15th of each calendar month.
